Our Story. Two girls, Canadian winters, and plenty of jackets! I loved the carry straps in my own coats, so I sewed elastic straps into my daughters’ jackets. When one daughter outgrew hers, she kept choosing it over her new one. Mommy, when I get warm, I can take it off and carry it myself! That little bit of independence inspired HUGME.
